Terms of Sale

These terms cover buying a Corpus license. Using Corpus is covered by the Corpus Commercial License. Corpus is made and sold by Nikita Andreevich Kostenko, the author of Corpus ("we", "us").

Who sells Corpus

Nikita Andreevich Kostenko, the author and owner of Corpus. Contact: sales@corpuskb.com.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our online orders: it takes the payment, issues the invoice, handles sales tax, and processes refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to online orders.

A company that orders by email and pays our invoice buys directly from us.

What you buy

A license for one company to install and use Corpus, under the Corpus Commercial License. It includes one production installation plus test, staging and backup copies, unlimited users, the full source code, and 12 months of updates.

After the 12 months the license keeps working: you keep the last version you received. Further updates and priority support are optional and sold separately, as the pricing section of this site describes.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown on this site. The license is a one-time payment per company. The founding customer price applies to the first 5 companies only.

Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. A price change never affects an order that has already been paid.

Delivery

After payment we email the license details to the address given with the order, with an invitation to the private Git repository of Corpus releases. Access is read-only and covers every release published during the update period. If your servers cannot reach GitHub, ask for an archive of each release instead.

The license starts on the day of payment. When the update period ends and is not renewed, access to new releases ends; the versions you already have stay yours to use.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of the purchase, for any reason. A refund ends the license: the company must stop using Corpus and delete every copy of it, including the source code and backups. The refund policy has the details.

Support

Email support comes with the license while updates are active, with a reply within 3 business days. Priority support is sold separately.

The license

What your company may and may not do with Corpus is set by the Corpus Commercial License, which you accept at checkout. If these terms and the license differ on the use of the software, the license applies.
